So happy that Anton and Cecil made it onto the Autumn 2013 IndieBound Kids' Next List! We love our local independent bookstores, they're always so welcoming and special, they even know your name.. All five of the Fall 2013 Algonquin Young Readers are on this list as well, so yay for all of us!

It's official.
Here's the poster, and there we are in the bottom right corner -- yes, a Junior Library Guild selection for Fall of 2013. We are totally thrilled! Also, it's pretty cool to be on the same poster as Kate DiCamillo, one of my fave writers.
The Junior Library Guild is an awesome organization that reviews all of the many, many books out there for children, from picture books to young adult titles, and then helps libraries buy them for their collections.
